San Juan Nepomuceno
1:90 scale Length: 38 in (960mm) Height: 29.5 in (750mm)

San Juan.jpg

This 2700 ton galleon, built in 1765, was armed with 74 guns, and became one of the most acclaimed warships in Spanish history. She fought nobly in the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805, engaging the H.M.S. Victory commanded by Admiral Nelson in an epic naval skirmish. We have immortalized the San Juan Nepomuceno in a 1/90 scale model that features plank-on-bulkhead assembly, pre-cut plywood frames and keel and molded formers to assure correct bow and stern shape. Individual walnut planking covers the hull, and metal, brass and wood fittings complete the look.

Cutty Sark

A tea clipper launched in 1869. Length 85.34m, breadth 10.97m, draught 6.4m, and displacement of 2,133 tons. The most famous of all tea clippers, the Cutty Sark is today preserved for posterity at a dry dock in Greenwich. Built to transport tea from China, she was designed by Hercules Linton, whose ambition it was to outstrip the Termopylae, the fastest ship of the times.
